What is included in the CPS Guard Card course?
The course covers the 8-hour Powers to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force training scope and provides a digital certificate after completion.
Does CPS issue the state Guard Card?
No. CPS provides training. The California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services handles the state registration process.
Can students outside Lancaster enroll?
Yes. The training is offered online throughout California. Lancaster is CPS home base, not a requirement for enrollment.
